I scrubbed a curb today making a u-turn in a parking lot. I haven't done that since I was a teenager learning how to drive. I have nobody to blame but myself, but dammit that makes me mad! http://www.exodusgaming.net/Smileys/default/scream.gif

EDIT: Okay that sucks. I have a few of them. You can get it fixed for $125 some places.

We just derailed each other's threads on the first post. http://www.exodusgaming.net/Smileys/default/laughing7.gif

It's cool Juice :censor: happens and you can get it repaired so do not let it get to you that much!

Fran already did it to 2 of the brand new rims on the Taurus being mad @ something and not paying attention.

Stuff happens unfortunatly.

Yeah, I just hate it when I make a stupid mistake like that. Completely avoidable!

Better that you did it than someone else. 2 months into having the Marauder Fran knicked the curb with the passenger side front rim. I has more than :mad2: to say the least and had a big fight over that one!

This is why I bought the Good Year tires that are also rim protectors once they needed to be changed out. They are kevlar reinforced sidewalls so not easy to screw them up.

Same thing here when I first got it.

Curb rash? Or just tire scuffing? Happens to me once in a while. Parking lots just aren't made for these beasts...

I rashed up the wheel a bit. It's not awful, but it's there, and it's my :censor: :censor: :censor: :censor: fault.

I think the worse part is the sound it makes as it happens.

I know how it is, Juice. Last spring I slammed a water-filled pothole I couldn't see at high enough speed to mangle a rim and frack up my lower control arm on the passenger side. Managed to get a nice replacement for a decent price from a great fellow here on mm.net. Well, wouldn't you know it, but this past winter trying to stop at a red light I slid into a curb on the snow and rashed up the replacement rim. There's not much that's quite as awful as knowing that you made a nasty boo-boo to your car.

Actually, that's one thing I don't like about the stock tires. Going one size wider front and back might give you a little more meat to protect the wheels. But then you have to argue with the tire shop guys that are determined to only sell you what the computer tells them to.:shake:

Mine are wider, I just wasn't paying attention.
