Well.... driving in the rain the other day, my ABS light comes on....

i just had all bearings changed, front hubs and rear axles and bearings...

ran about 500 miles on them. and now the ABS light.

Any ideas? i tried unplugging and plugging back in the fronts (i dont know exactly where the rear connectors are, im sure i could track it down)

reset the ECM with my SCT, and still not off

it turned off ONCE, then has been on ever since.

i am taking it to my quite trustworthy mechanic, but was seeing if anyone had this issue, and could possibly save me time.

also, my passenger rear brake disk has not completely seated on the rotor.... been almost 300 miles since i replaced the brakes, rotors and pads....

maybe that has something to do with it. lol

you need a different scanner to scan the abs, you could try to clean the wheel sensors, but if you want to save time and hassle just go get it scanned

Place a piece of black electrical tape over the ABS light on your gauge cluster.

Check again the rears-take off the tires on a jack or stand--My screw holding in my ABS sensor had come loose and even the magnet part that is an added protection didn't hold--there it was just hanging bouncing against the tire--check them both--screwed them back in --problem went away--------

Maybe it happen when you had your wheel work done and it vibrated loose from incomplete re-install----worth checking anyway-

Did you have the tires rotated?
If the shop rotated front to rear/rear to front the tires are different sizes and will throw an abs light!

They did rotate the fronts to the rears, but i am running the same size tire all around.

the extended holiday really pushed my repair back.

but, is most likely due to a shotty reinstall, from when my bearings were completed.

Well if you have traction control you cant run all same size tires
