A lot of folks have both---check the search function and find a lot of information on both.

they look amazing man, are those the 13" or 14" did the car require modifications to fit them with stock wheels???????
I would like to keep my stock wheels, and need the extra stopping power for real...
thanks in advance for your input :burnout:

13" and the only "modification" is the 1/16" spacer.

Did you really notice a big difference in braking, do tell. I have been kicking it around for awhile but if I spend that kinda money I would hope it would be BIG time difference, not just a incremental change.

I may not be the right guy to ask as I thought the stock brakes crapped the bed and the EBC set up from Rienhart was even worse. They were a hazard to all. So the upgrade was huge for me. I would recommend the Wilwoods to anyone, everytime. I am careful about working the brakes hard and then sitting with the brakes on as these high performance race pads will leave a deposit on the rotors that feels like warping. Easily and quickly fixed by doing the rebedding proceedure. I have about 20K on mine with not one problem thanks to the very hard and expert work by carfixer and tallboy. :)Dennis

There is a night & day difference in stopping power.
Stops on a dime and gives you $00.09 change!

I believe Baer's are 4 piston calipers. The Wilwoods are 6 piston calipers.
The ONLY place to get them is from TCE Performance. Todd is a vendor here. Look him up in the vendor forum.
Although you can source the parts, I believe the calipers are machined and there is a custom made mounting bracket.
IMHO... there is no better brake upgrade kit. And Todd is great to work with

And here I am thinking Brembo front & back. All the OEM,S are using them. What gives?? I want to upgrade my brakes once & want the best performance as possible. You need the best due to moose & bears & everything that walks on 4's. HELP!!!

You'll get the best performance with the TCE Wilwood brake upgrade.

When it comes to brakes as far as I am concerned Willwood is the ultimate brake system.

I use cross drilled and slotted on all of my Mustangs, as they don't fade during road course racing. Therefore, I chose the Baer system when I upgraded the brakes on my '04 Marauder.
I had solid rotors for one racing season on my Suprcharged '93 Cobra Mustang. After nearly wipping out twice, I changed to cross drilled and slotted. The fading never happened again. I run the Mustangs at Lime Rock and Millville, so hard use is common for my cars.

For whatever it is worth, Wilwood has a lot of experience doing brakes for dirt track sprint cars, World of Outlaws cars etc. At least years ago WW's were the brake of choice for those guys. I don't know about that now though, but WW is certainly no new comer to performance brake systems.
