With the talk about "video or it didn't happen" I would like to offer anyone a ride with me, but you must have a camera in hand. I would love to prove that everything I post consists of truth from beginning to end.

The plan is to have any member on this site jump in my car with camera. We will drive around all day long looking for kills to make (car related) on the street. Start at noon and end whenever we feel like we have made our point. I would say start at 12pm and go to 2am.

I would save it for a nice day when all the mile high ego people take their cars out that only see the light of day during the summer when the weather is pretty. Organised street racing is a no no, this will be all highway or off the line with complete strangers.

Must be in Chicago because I need to know the area.

If no one replys, then there is no reason to ever say "never happened." I'm giving you the chance.

I didnt derail anything. I cant ride with you and film because im in Maryland and im surely not flying out there to film what i dont belive is possible, and I dont want to waste a day or possibly my life doing it.

Negative. That last "race" was on an interstate. I know for sure I wouldn't stand a chance at the track with a S/C Vette. Now on the streets it's another ball game. Depends on who get's going first, who knows how to shift... exc. It can be a lot easier to win or lose. It's totally different.

Sanctioned racing on a track is dangerous to participants. Street racing is dangerous to innocent bystanders.

Like the MM on one side and the 'vette on the other side simultaneously passing a slower car in the middle lane. If that slower car was driven by your Mom and she made a panic move to the slow lane then got MURDERED by a street racer, how would you feel?

Consider this ......I have been driving on public roads since I was 11.... I topped my 1st car on a highway {Rte 495 in MA- a 1981 Supra} when I was 13... Been driving a 4 speed since 12 a Land Cruiser no less..No power Steering or brakes...Crashed one when I was 14, and almost did not make it to 15 because of my father. Again none of this is probably unusual to most here...Most everyone I have met in the Marauder community has stories like this in there teens/20's.....

I think part of the reason why you catch so much crap, is because you come off as thinking you are doing something really unique....The truth is you are not breaking new ground...... Many of us had very similar experiences when we were your age, some even more crazy than you have described here........:burnout: In the end ya gotta be careful what you claim:argue:..... Things like this can be used in court if ya ever wind up there. You will not get alot of "consideration" from the Judge:bigcry: if they read about your adventures true or not.....

I never said I was breaking new ground.

The reason I post is because everytime I'd have a new "kill" many people would want a PM. I simply make a thread to same time and everyone can see the story. Recently I have been getting crap, but I can narrow down why.

The people that give me crap are like this.

-Aren't blown and are probably jelious.

Excessive Tire Spinning
Negligence
Disorderly Conduct

He said the drag Racing alone can suspend your license for 1 year. But the car could potentially be impounded depending on the situation.

That having been said, Dom has always been a pretty honest guy, and he takes a lot of crap on here, of which he is mostly good natured about.

Dom is a wild card, I certainly don't agree with all that he does, but he is young. at that age you feel almost invincible. Dom will change over the years as we all have, and his priorities will shift. But he has a tremendous amount of passion, thats for sure.

BTW you do not have to be blown or have a turbo on a car to have a fast car or a powerfull engine.

People were building 10 sec and faster cars for many years without blowers or turbo's long before you were born.

The guys who had those cars or a chance to run them or who built engines like that still shake thier heads @ what people are doing to make a faster car and are spending more money to get those numbers than we ever did building an engine up from scratch.

What you spend on a super charger can build an entire engine that makes more power and torque than your bolt on does for less money.

Increasing the compression ratio and better cam shafts and then a way for the fuel and air to atomize much better and allow the engine to take in all the fuel and air it wants with a nice free flow exhaust as well can do wonders in making a high HP engine with loads of torque.

All a super charger does is increases the compression anyways.
