Every Thursday in July, a friend of mine is hosting a cruise at his little restauraunt in Preston. The place is called Parke's Place, and is located on Rte. 12, between the Mohgan Peqout Bridge and Poquetonuck Cove (about 1/2 mile south of the bridge). Great guy, good food. The time is from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Hope to see everyone (local guys) there next week, and the following too if you like it.

I think it would be cool if you kinda "leap-frogged" all of them. :D

About 10 to 12 miles. Either cross the river at the Gold Star Bridge (I-95) and take the first exit to rte 12 north. Stay on rte 12 north for 10ish miles, cruise will be on the right, or go up rte 32 toward norwich, get on I395 north in Quaker Hill (about 4 miles) the take exit 79A towards Mohegan Sun, cross the Mohgan Pequot Bridge, turn right onto rte 12 south, Parke's Place is less than a mile on the left.

I will go to the one next Thursday the 15th @ your friends place if I have enough gas in the Marauder to handle that and the trip on the 18th for the all Ford event in Manchester ct the 18th.

But the Thursday after I will be out of commission.

I have a couple of friends that I might be able to get to go as well they are always looking for things to do all week with the cars.

I will be there today Paul!

I have to go to Guilford to the Coumadin Clinic to fill out paperwork and pick up the Lovenox shots I need for next weeks operation.

So seeing I will be in the area I will just head up to your friends place and chill out with you the rest of the day. So see ya there!

I was there and your Mom and brother showed up with the 50's Crown Vic and I goofed and thought your brother was you and he was like do I know you? plus I am going to be in trouble for this because I already forgot his name showed up with his 03 Marauder.

They had a live band and I had Fish and Chips inside the Place. Good food and nice people all the way around so I am going to get this posted of them on the (CCCA) CT Car Clubs of America web site to see if I can get it more attention for them.

And just for the guys not saying I never take pics of the Marauder here are some with the new show board as well.

Looking good LV...had thought of this one being I'm playing hookie for the last few days but I was all the way over in Farmington/Unionville pedaling a bike and had no hope of getting the car and over that side of CT in a reasonable time!

Best,
J

First, thanks to you guys for showing, Mr. Spicer really appreciated it. My mom thought you guys were great. Second, let me appologize for my not being there. I got roped into driving the firetruck for our local Smokey the Bear parade. I'll be there for the next one for sure.

Only you can prevent forest fires... I was driving a rig Tuesday night. Drafting drill. Drafting from a pond and sending it out the deck gun.

Sorry to de-rail... Continue!
