So a couple days ago I had to replace the battery and alternator. 82,000 miles is all the original battery wanted.:) The funny thing is the alternator had been replaced once before and was a rebuild. It looked like it had been on the car for awhile. Anyway the next day the air compressor went out!:mad2: I was going to rebuild it like described in other threads, but decided to go with the Arrnott Industries replacement (I ordered over the phone, great people, very helpful). They don't make one for our cars but he said that the Grand marquis compressor will work. There are only a couple of difference. The electrical connection has a wire lead and once plugged in needs to be tied down. The air outlet is rotated counter clockwise a little bit and it makes a tight fit between it and the washer tank. The factory washers they give you are too big so you have to either get smaller ones or use the old washer nut combo that was on the old pump. Switching out was a breeze, and now it works great and is super quiet. Oh and like people have said before drill more holes in the pan cause when I took mine out the factory hole was clogged with rust and it was full of water. Sorry the last one is so dark.

I think so cause on their website the 03-07 town car is the same part# as the grand marquis. (the one that I ordered) The box said town car on the side so I double checked the part number and found out they are the same.

Ya but I like the way it sits with air ride and adjusts to keep the stance.
