I was going to go with black bullits, up front 18x9 with +36mm offset and 235/50/18's ,
and 18x9 with a +45mm offset in the back with a 265/50/18. According to my info this should fit with no problems.
I need to order these asap, my MM is decomm'd after an accident and she needs new shoes.
Thoughts? this will work right?
Im going with no lip up front and deep dish in the back:banana2:

They will work, their are other's with the same setup but before you pull the trigger do a search on GMTech. His MM's stance was nasty with bullet wheels. If I were to ever go with bullets I'd do it like his.

I agree completely, but will 20" affect the performance alot? Its my impression that the larger heavier wheels will hurt me in the qtr mile

If your worried about performance then keep the stock wheel's. Do you know what it would cost to find an aftermarket forged aluminum wheel? Any aftermarket wheel will weigh more and most likely will not be forged.

widen the 2 mm wheels that are still intact and use those for the track. :banana2:

lets say i beefed things up to a 245/45 up front and a 275/40 in back, with an 18x10 in back instead of 9", that will still fit right? i hear people runnin 295/50's on a stock rim so it makes sense it would work

THATS WHAT SHE SAID!
LMAO!!!!

IDK... That may be too wide. The widened rims are 9.5" ,there was a recent post on tires rubbing and the guy ended up using QA-1 shocks and flipped them upside down to get more room. You may have to mod the rear suspension

Good looks, do you think the 45mm offset will put that extra rim/tire outside toward the fender not the suspention? I figured i may have roll the fenders a weeeeeeeee bit lol
BTW Doomie you're having way too much fun with this thread lolz

There is'nt much to roll on the rear. They came rolled from the factory. Better look at it.

But i figure if they dont work I can go back to the 9's and sell the 10's to people on the mustang forums lol

GMtech runs 20" x 10" on the rear with no issues. Do some searching, last year he explained what size tires he used to make it work. That will atleast give you a place to start on width.

20x10's fit with no problem and plenty room to spare. Didn't mod anything. Actually I lowered the rear and cut a coil in front. No rubbing, and wasn't even close to any suspension component. 255/35/20 in front and 275/40/20 in rear:D

It sounds like a 18x9 with a +36 offset will stick out of the front wheel wells little to far to me. I test fit a 18x9 with a +34 and it past the top of the fender flip.
The 18x9 with +45 may better choice for up front.
Out of curiosity where are you getting these rims from?

Change the fronts to 255/45/18 and you'll be PERFECT.
