Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy oil for a Novi SL centri blower? Paxton does not offer it on their website now. I found it online at Summit and Jegs for about $41 plus shipping. I used the dealer locator on the Paxton site, and of the local dealers who answered their phone, none stock the oil. Any other places to look?

Try the Vortec site. Look at the Accessories option and select V3 Lubricant. It sounds like the same thing the NOVI SL uses.
Cost $31.00 plus shipping.

Otherwise, call the Paxton order desk and ask about lubricant for the Self oilers.

I still have a bottle left so I'll also be asking.

Regards,

Pat

Just curious since ProCharger virtually demands that you use their "ZERO WEIGHT" synthetic oil at about $10.00 per 6 ounce bottle!!!

What weight and type is the Paxton stuff??

I got through to the Paxton sales desk yesterday (forgot they are in Kali, three hour time diff). They sell the Novi oil, three pack, $30.95 plus shipping. My order is on its way. :)

I have no idea what viscosity their oil is, but am certain it is synthetic. Each bottle is 4oz. and good for a single oil change each 7,500 miles.

i have a V3 unit here and i always changed my oil every 7500mi i always found it a PITA to get oil as my local dealer sometimes has it but usually not so the bearings went south after 30,000 mi after rebuilding the unit myself i did some searching and found some oil 100% syn high speed gear reduction oil its made by Boston gear $30 for 1 quart wich is a lot better deal then buying the vortech crap i have been running this oil for 5 months now with no problems it says you can go 5000hr between changes or change more often if in severe conditions,,liq gold
