usgecko, the spoiler is a dealer option that you must request if you want it.

The Marauder should have came from the factory with a standard spoiler on it, IMHO. :D

Told my dealer I wanted it when I got mine and he looked at me like I was crazy. He didn't know anything about it. Got mine off E-bay.

I'm one who's glad it did not come standard. The only spoiler I've seen that catches my eye, is Barry's.

I did not have spoiler installed at time of purchase($500.00) It would have delayed delivery(and you know boys and their toys!) Wish I would have done it now-I think they look fantastic!

My dealer actually asked my wife and me if we wanted the spoiler. He had one in stock and showed it to us (The car is my wife's). It was in perfect condition with no scratches or marks on it. We held it on the car and gave him the ok to install it. He charged $250 for it installed. Looks great!

I am happy that the spoiler did *not* come standard. I don't like them on almost any car. I want mine to be a complete sleeper.

I think the spoiler looks good, just not on my car. :)

Thanks,

Red:

Buy it online from www.fordpartsnetwork.com for $219.99, plus $7 shipping...have your dealer (or someone competent) spray it and put it on yourself...it's easy...about an hour, with ordinary hand tools...

I agree , Sarge. As long as it's installed in the right place!

Sorry guys! No internet on the airplane....yet.

Here is my pic, and an explaination. Pics on my car are in the gallery under 'CRUZTAKER':

The spoiler I have is a ‘California Dream Wing’ model ‘1240-3L AVALON’ and I recommend obtaining it through the great folks at ‘Cover Up Inc.’ in Tonganoxie, Kansas. Craig Jackson, the owner and his daughter in law Ariel will be more than willing to help you out. The spoiler will come pre painted to match your MM color. BTW: They do all the spoiler installs for the Lincoln-Mercury dealerships in the area.

I paid $256.87 for the spoiler, painted, and delivered to my door in mint condition. I spoke with Ariel, and she is aware I passed their name on to my friends at the MM.NET.

Good luck and Happy Motoring….tell ‘em Cruztaker sent you!
