Haven't heard from Paul/Blackened300a in a while. It has been 3 weeks since he has visited the site. Very unusual. Hope everything is OK. Last I heard, his car had to go back in the shop.

We heard it through the grapevine (Tommy) that Paul is alive and well. Hope the car issues will soon be a thing of the past. He is missed around here.:burnout:

Heard Paul is OK and his car is now running. Not sure if it was tuned yet.

Thanks for thinking of me Charlie!
I'm fine, being Marauderless, I decided it would be best not to involve myself things Marauder related to keep my nerves calm.

Yeah car went back, engine was torn down and they found nothing internally wrong with the engine that would make the noise. To be 100% sure, they tossed a brand new crankshaft in. All is well right now.

Ill always be a part of this community. Just taking some time off to get my car back in shape. ;)

Car is complete and completely polished back to its former glory. The first 200 miles are to be driven carefully while I have break-in oil in the engine. Then Ill swap it out and nurse it for 500 miles to make sure everything wears in properly. Once that happens Ill open it up and see what it does. Tuning will be done soon.

Man, You Folks Are A Nice Group Of People ! Your priorities are honorable, meaning your concern for people's well being always comes first.
I enjoy reading this forum even more than driving my '04 SB (which is not my daily driver and a good weather show off car)
I especially enjoy the Shop Talk posts, and have copied most every post for future reference.
Thanks and good wishes to everyone who contributes to this forum.
That's it !
Enjoy!
