I've been running into problems with just my passenger side rear tire! I keep somehow picking up nails with it! :mad2: I've picked up three nails on 3 several occasions now. I live in an area with little construction and I keep finding nails with just that single tire. Came out for the third time this month to the tire being at 1.5lbs of pressure and limping it to the tire shop to patch it. No funds just to buy new rears outright. I took it off the other day to find uneven wear starting to occur, more wear on the middle and inside of the tire, outside tread looks brand new. Just kind of venting and asking if there would be any way not to correct the wear, but just advice when I do get a new set to keep the wear more even. Thanks for listening! I've read about people getting wear on the middle, sidenote-these are the OEM BFG's run at 38lbs pressure

On my Falkens, which are not OEM size, I've found that my fronts have HORRIBLE inside wear and almost new looking tread center and outside, and my rears have HORRIBLE center tread wear and almost new looking tread inside and outside. I knew these cars had some alignment issues, but the wear is ridiculous.

Center wear as you describe is very often due to overinflation. You night try the factory recommended 32 psig cold.

You can try running them at 40PSI. That has helped for some in the past with the OEM rear tires. As far as the nails, I'd be looking at my tires everytime I leave to be sure its not being done intentionally. Old dirty trick. Some people equate the MM with LE and since they are less than law abiding citizens to begin with, may be taking it out on your car.

Normally, but not on the MM. Do a search, this has been a problem since the 1st MM was built. BFG suggested running them at 40PSI. The wear has to do with the stagger in sizes.

I run 38 psi, I'm setting up a flip cam with a pretty decent sized HD to see whats going on for the next few days... See if there's a culprit, or there are really that many nails laying around in NY
