SilverStar parking lights

Just got off the phone w/Sylvania. 3157AST SilverStar front parking/turn bulbs are no longer going to be available at AutoZone or Advance Auto. According to "Michelle" at their HQ in Hillsboro, NH these bulbs are now only available from Pep Boys, O'Reilly, and Amazon.

I guess only a few of us hate the "fried egg" look of the standard amber bulbs and they aren't big sellers.

I've dealt with the "fried egg" look for some time now, but i guess I'll change them soon

I changed out the amber bulbs for just clear bulbs. They look good and are brighter than the ambers, but they are a subtle change that most won't notice! Clear bulbs FTW!

I don't believe they are, but they really aren't that much brighter and they did the trick for me! I will take my chances with the clear ones. They look good with all clear lights across the front!

Are those the bulbs that kind of look like the older Mustang 'Mystic' paint??
But they glow yellow/orange when blinking?

Guys get chrome amber bulbs.

Go with LED bulbs. You will have to add a resistor. Mine pass state inspection everytime.

Seriously? A clear bulb is brighter than one coated with something that makes it darker? *facepalm* You need to change your name again. I think Captain Obvious is available. :D
