2004 MM Transmission??

How is the 4R75W transmission different from the one they originally put in the '03 car??:confused:

Someone said it is the one used in the F-150 truck and quite a bit stronger??;)

What about gear ratios??:)

Only comment I have at 430 smiles is that it upshifts too soon unless you get on it pretty hard!! :(

Its covered in my Forum and a stage 1 kit will cure the shift issue

My 04 also rushes the shifts and is tentative about which gear to be in when city driving under light pedal pressure. Shifts much better and is much happier at medium to hard acceleration and higher speeds!

Mine does the same as far as not sure which gear to go to?? Probably has to do with fuel mileage and getting to top gear ASAP!!??:(
