View Full Version : For Sale Selling my Blue
Going to sell my Blue. I'm a Canadian member, it's one of only two blue's in Canada. it's got 125'000 kilometers that's about 75,000 miles. It has a new battery, 4 new tires, alignment to car-fixers specs, new brakes all around, K&N cold air intake, new suspension air-pump. SCT3 currently running Lidio's 91 Octane tune, it also has the 93 tune uploaded. The car needs nothing, it's certified and emission tested. Paint and body are really good, no squeaks or rattles, rims are good some minor scuffs. It does puff a bit at start up but only after sitting for a couple of hours or overnight (and not always) it does goes away after a few seconds, engine is quiet, trans shifts nice and crisp. I'm including the SCT3 and a Wolf car cover.
I've had a lot of time to think about this, I have another toy and really wanted another members car however a recent car accident at work put me out for a while and the wife and I just bought an income property. I'm asking $11,500 Canadian to the MM member community, it's also listed on a local website for more and I've received several calls and had a few showings at the higher price. I don't want to see this car destroyed so I'll be picky about the sale let's just say I'm glad the last guy who looked at it couldn't get his finances secured. I'm still waiting for others to get back to me. It's amazing the calls you get, but people do waste your time too.
Anyway here are some pics and if you guys think I'm out to lunch let me know pls. I did pay more for the car and added the sct3, new rubber, brakes and got her looking shiny. I bought it through a friend. I've put on almost 10,000 miles the last 4 months, the last month I haven't been able to drive until recently. This is a tough decision and I will get another, I love the blue. If I'm slow to getting back please patient my back is still killing me making it hard to use the computer and vacuum the car. Any way here are some pics.
forgot to mention, the driver's side had been scratched by some jack ass but I got it fixed and fixed right, you would never know but I'm telling you anyway.

I need a bigger garage. Damn it.
FYI to help the sale take a picture of each side of the car, and from each door to the inside of the car to show its condition. I've sold alot of cars on the net and Pictures Pictures Pictures is what sells.

Whats involved with selling your car to a US citizen for registration here?
Wow, thanks guys. I have several PM's and I will get back to all of you. I do have a local offer we'll see what comes of that. As for bringing a car into the US, I'm not sure but it can't be much more than filling out a few forms. I know several used car lots in my area that are flooded with US vehicles from when our dollar was stronger. I can look into and find out. My wife's 04 Impala is a US car bought here locally.
Getting back to all the PM's asap. Off to physio now.

Hi Guys,
I've been doing my best to get back to everyone, the interest has been over whelming to say the least. It looks like the car has found a home. I won't let the cat out of the bag, I'll let the new owner introduce themselves. He should have the car and a big smile on his face on August 17th.

There are more than two blue's in Canada, by the way. A lot more. Little old Cape Breton even got one at its dealership in the middle of nowhere. Doesn't take away from this being a nice car, but I thought you might want to know.

Yes i am, i can't get over how perfect this car is, drove it home from Ottawa today, feels like a new car and i feel like a kid!

Glad your happy with it and you made it home OK. It was nice to meet you, too bad you weren't a bit closer. It was a beauty and I will miss it. Just too many other things going on right now. I will get another as I told you. Once I sell the GN, decide to sell, I'll get another MM, I took the GN out today, dialed up the boost to 26lbs... and it felt good real good, Just ask the sport bike that a got a good look at the rear lights.
My next MM will be boosted for sure.

Why not in 2004?
Is there a specific reason?

No, it was 328, I have proof.
Kernie you should see which blue out of 328 you have. As I told you she was born on Build date:2/4/03 so she was probably one of the first few to roll off the assembly line in "Blue".

DBPs were only offered in 2003. Not sure why, but as such, they are rare. And yours with the dark charcoal interior is the rarest of the rare (only 113 built in that combination).
Based on your production date, you've got an early one for sure. I got the third to the last blue built, #326 of 328.
