Insurance does NOT use OEM parts 9 times out of 10. Take it to Ford/Lincoln/Merc dealership

Very sorry to hear about ur car. Hope you are ok. Some states allow aftermarket parts. Some states allow the insured to demand OEM parts. Do not know about your state. In any case, best of luck.

Mike -:mad2: Sorry to hear this bud. Call your insurance co. and ask them to write in the esitmate OEM Ford part only. Then make sure you point it out to the folks doing the work.
Good luck :o

Sorry to hear, but definitely could have been a lot worse! You have your health and it isn't a terrible amount of damage. Better than my car treading the line of being totaled when I got in my accident!
Good luck buddy!

Mike.....Badgeless is a custom grill option not from the factory....... Probably won't be replaced or compensated for.

Well guys I have heard from the insurance adjuster. GOOD NEWS THEY ARE NOT GONNA TOTAL MY CAR OUT..The driver side air bag deployed. The insurance agent I was speaking to on the phone at the scene of the accident was stating that it my be totaled out do to the air bag deploying. And he also stated that they are putting it back together with the OEM parts.

It depends on the insurance company. I have State Farm and when I got in an accident they paid for my SS inserts to be replaced. If you have a good company and can provide a reciept for the purchase they should replace it no problem.

Muscle... Not to start an argument here, but SS inserts are made by a company, vs. the Grills which were made by? Zack or??? Not knocking Zack on this by any means. Just trying to distinguish between a company product in a price book, and a custom fabbed hot rodder piece..
