Hi Guys
After shining up the Marauder I noticed how pitiful the brake calipers (rear shown) looked through the wheels so was wondering what colour if any you all think I should paint them?

+1, it's not an option in the poll, but I think Blue would look sweet. (I'm sure Casy or Joe will come along and change my post since I included poll and blue)

I like the red and black combo. So red ftw on a black car.

Do you really want to copy what they have been doing on Porsches and Corvettes for years?
Second thought, what about chrome???

I have never seen green so how 'bout British racing green. Have you powdercoated your cam covers? If you did I'd go with that color.

I don't see blue listed. Pretty pleased with the looks of mine.

I voted red but until I saw SC Cheeshead's pic I'd reconsider. Blue would look great especially on a DBP or SB

On a black car, red all the way. Or black and red. It really pops.

Blue looks really nice, when I'm due for brakes (about 1,000 miles) I was going to do blue to match my bumper inserts. Thanks for posting up a pic to make up my mind!

I went with red and love it. I touch them up once once every couple of years. I saw this pic a couple of years ago with yellow calipers and actually didn't mind it (even thought about doing it for about 1 second). Not sure whose car it is...maybe someone here.

EVERYBODY does red, why not step outside the box and something else. i like black because unless there aftermarket you dnt really pay them attention and you focus more on the wheels.

I don't have my MM anymore, but on my Ford Adrenalin instead of painting my calipers, I did the next best thing.

Hi Guys
I am running this same poll on three different forums and here are the results so far;
Number of views = 629
Number of votes = 96 (Why the **** can't people vote if they have gone to the effort to view a poll?)
Black = 36 votes
Silver = 10 votes
Gold = 3 votes
Red = 38 votes
Green = 3 votes
Au naturel = 6 votes
Marauder guys have cast the most votes and are voting red while Lincoln and Grand Marquis guys are voting for black.
I have had some suggestions of blue and purple but I can't remember actually seeing them as a choice on the poll http://www.lincolnsonline.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif

They weren't listed in the poll, but there are a couple of us with those color choices that chimed in via a reply to the thread.

Don't know why blue wasn't included in this poll, but I'm also pleased with the results on my ride. Blue seems to be a natural colour choice, considering the affiliation with Ford, Blue Oval, etc...

I voted Au naturel as I prefer to look at the whole vehicle and not have my eyes or anyone else's being grabbed towards a brake caliper. I say if you're going to hang it on the wall behind your bar paint it for all to notice, otherwise leave the poor thing alone :)

Hi Guys
I found a can of heat resistant aluminium paint lurking in a cupboard at the shop so in the end went with silver, I think they look fab!
