I am sure they don't make a "Chiltons" for the Marauder, so what is the best book to pick up for step by step directions on how to service our vehicles and work on certain parts of the car? Thanks!

Search on eBay for a paper factory service manual, I got mine and the wiring diagram for about $50-60 shipped.

Helm is the way to go.
They make the official shop manuals for Ford Motor Company.

There is no specific Marauder shop manual. The 2003 & 2004 Ford Crown Victoria / Mercury Grand Marquis shop manuals & electrical manuals contain the the specifics for the Marauder.

There are always some used manuals on eBay. I and many others got ours from eBay seller Lori & Jeff.

I have the Ford DVD. It's OK, but I like to have the paper in my hand. To use the DVD you have to set the date on your computer because the DVD has time-sensitive data.

That it expires after an "X" amount of time?
