View Full Version : Steering wheel logo removal?

My God's Head badges arrived today, and I have replaced the waterfall on the grill and trunk. Before I get to the steering wheel badge removal, does this logo pry out, or is it held on with adhesive?

I think I have seen this asked on here, but couldn't find it with obvious search terms. Thanks for the help.

We added the steering wheel badging right over the stock. Didn't want to tamper with the airbag.

They are an overlay, not a replacement if you have the same ones I purchased from a member on here...

Don't pry it off! It has tabs on it. There's no way to put on the new one. I was able to put the old one back on, much to my relief. The new one is an overlay, and looks GREAT!

I took mine off and installed what is in my avatar.....pretty easy but don't know what will happen if the airbag blows!!??:eek:

I got the three piece set from ebay. The steering wheel badge is metal, and looks like it will stand off from the wheel quite a bit.


Are the steering wheel badges from AGR3 thinner? If so, I might buy one as the one that I have now looks like it will look odd with how far it stands off from the wheel.
