No WOT Shift

ok 04 marauder with 4r75 trans. Forgot O/D was on hit about 125 or so and since then if I floor the car it will not shift unless I let up a bit. It does this with O/D on or off any ideas why? I will be changing the fluid this sat to try that first.

Geesh sorry to hear that man. Is it just the 3-4 shift or 1-2 and 2-3.

Pan drop, clean magnet, new filter would be my first thing to try. Also you can disconnect the negative cable while you do this to reset the PCM - your tune might have adaptive turned off.

You may have bent the transmission output shaft.

With your Xcal2, Xcal3 you can modify the shift points for 1-2, 2-3, 3-4. Perhaps your car is just getting faster than the PCM can handle.

I'd definately do a pan drop, then modify your tune to command the shifts 4 mph earlier. (WOT 1-2 -4) etc -- I figure you are getting there earlier, or the trans is taking longer to shift which is why you are hitting the rev limiter before the shift happens.

I think you should get a trans cooler - in this heat if you are WOT a lot your trans fluid is hot and taking a beating.

Take it easy till you pan drop it - then modify the tune. Just my limited advice - I'm not mr know it all. Your trans might need some new parts. Do the J mod too if you haven't already...
