Is anyone running 255/45-18's on the rear and 245/45-18's on the front? If so, would you have any side shots of your Marauder you could post?
I'm looking at some Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires because I want really sticky tires for the Auto-X and these have a 140 UTQG rating.

Overall all diameter on the rear is 27" vs 28.5" for the BFG and the fronts are 26.7" vs 27.2" on the BFG.
Here are two videos of me from last Sunday's Auto-X event.

Ok. New plan. Have Weldcraft widen the rears by 1.5" to accept a 275/45-18. Overall height is 27.8" (0.6" smaller than OEM)

Anyone else running this size on the rear?

Watched your AutoX vids. Would have been nice of them to put the cones back in a standing position between runs for you. How does the MM stack up against the competition?

Actually those are pointer cones to tell you which way to go around the standing cone. Helps on the slalom portion of the course.
I typically run in the Novice class and usually finish in the middle of the pack. At the event where the videos were taken, I finished 16th out of 25 in the Novice class.

Most of the other cars are half my wieght. I take everything out of the car that isn't bolted down and try to run about a half tank of gas and I'm still weighing 4320 lbs. I even empty the washer fluid tank.

I towed a Mercedes E55 AMG last week that had 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear and they looked GREAT. The tires are 5% and 15% smaller respectively than my stock sizes. I wanna go wider and lower than stock and have matching tires. Still looking....

For me, I wanted this Bridgestone tire to run on the Auto-X, so I tried to find a tire that was similar in height to the OEM.

I have 255/45 18 on the front and 275/45 18 on the rear. Look is good and sticky. Conti Extreme Contact DW. Nice tire. Didn't need to widen the rear and the tires fit fine with just a slight bludge on the sidewall. Will post some pics once I figure out how to. By the way, at this size on the back I am seeing a higher RPM at the same speed, which is good, because I feel as I have more bolt when I punch it.
