(posting for someone else, I don't have anything to do with the planning of this event)

Hey guys we're having our first meet of the "season". From 12pm-5pm we're hosting a get-together at Bill Bateman's in Towson on Sunday,
August 15th, 2010. Anyone is welcome and it's a free event. Our spring meet went well and we're hoping for another great turnout.

Probably not a bad show, but considering you posted the event on a RWD, big 4 door panther platform forum, I would seriously doubt you will have a whole lot of response. Also, the "welcome back" portion is most likely aimed at the TU crowd. Most of the members here have been out of college for quite a few years. Just my .02

Hey, I still remember going to college, it's just that now my stepson is a Senior at Towson U!

:hmmm:...maybe it's time to bring out the 427 Cobra for a ride up to Towson.

LOL...Yep!...Type 'R' stickers will make it much faster!

My brother flat out refuses to allow me to drill and mount the 747 wing on the trunklid of the Cobra.
I keep telling him that we need more downforce!....:mad2:

It's a meet that's open to all car enthusiasts, regardless of what you drive or how old you are. If you want to be a Debbie Downer and cry about it, that's fine.

Tonk is friend of mine from another forum. He was just posting it up because it's open to all vehicles and it's local. :beer:

Because of rain...


Looks like the rain isn't clearing up....Talked to the management of Bateman's and they are down to reschedule for September. Hopefully the second weekend on a Saturday. I'll post a new event up for when we get the details set in stone.
