Thought I'd share pictues of the finished product of me detaling BLUE. Started off by washing her with Dawn to start out with a freash canvas. Then used Mother's Clay Bar kit and finished off with a coat of Zaino. Gotta tell you that Zaino is the BEST wax I've ever used. I'd like to thank Doom, Knine & SC Cheesehead for their input and suggestions

I don't like you! Why, cause this makes me want to sell my SB and go buy a Blue.

Very Nice! I have always wanted to do up a blue with the Sonus then Zaino treatment.
Zaino's gets better the more you layer it, Last year at SSHS9 I had 19 coats on.
SSHS8 my black Mark 8 had 32 coats.
1 coat is just a tease. You don't really get the depth change until about coat #6.
Good choice on products although I am not using the Dawn on much anymore. Kinda harsh, I just use either Meguires or Zaino car soap, the claybar takes everything off anyway.

Any idea how often one should use the clay bar?

Whenever the finish needs it.

The way to check if you need to claybar is to put a sandwich baggie over your have and run your finger tips over the finish, if it feels rough then you need to claybar.

I only used Dawn to start out with a fresh "canvas". I typically use Meguires car soap.

Nice! I just finally saw my first blue IRL last week. I didn't realize they were so dark. I thought it was black at first.
