I dont think it would look bad as long as I use the CDC black plastic piece that goes on the stang hood, raises the surrounding area like the Mach 1 hood, im sure fittment would have to be worked out but I think it would look good

As ImpalaSlayer noted, the modern era Mustang shaker hood scoop is WAY too small for the size of the hood.
Even the late '60s / early '70s Mustang -AND- Torino ( which was larger than that of the Mustang ) would be WAY too small.
Possible (?) alternative .....

*After-market MoPar hemi' offering. Several years ago RIDES featured an Expedition that Christopher Titus put on one.

Was going to mention the above as I saw it on a Magnum and it looked awesome.
Before cutting holes in your hood though you might photoshop a pic and see if it is the direction you want to go.

Funny.I was thinking what that would look like on a MM just a few weeks ago too.

I would probably just go with the cowl induction thingy...
Would true ram air require a tune? Anybody know?

If you have a CAI, pull the driver's side headlight and you'll have a "poor man's" version of ram air.
The cowl hoods look sharp. Ladyhawke, jamestang, and a couple other folks have them, PM them for photos.

There was someone that did the TransAm scoops on the side....looked real sharp...but it was alot of work IIRC. I would go that route if you can find the parts.

*2007 Interceptor concept. My personal preference, however, to the best of my knowledge - UNATTAINABLE *sigh*

I would go the cowl hood route, it's cheaper and actually functions.

That was Mike's car (kb-marauder-s), originally bigjoep. It's probably a soda can by now. It was totalled and parted out last fall.

Nope. Not Mike's. It was pretty much a soda can when we took it apart, but, it didn't have the TransAm intakes. :(

Yeah but what # was it. I've been told there were 10 KB's. Haggis and Ladyhawke have 5 and 8 and N04GL(?) has #10. Be neat to record all of them if we could.

OOPS! I stand corrected!!! You're right! It was mashed enough I didn't notice! It DID have those! As far as number, Sean, Bob or Adam should know.

I actually don't think the shaker would look that great on a Marauder. It would seem sort of out of place to me. I actually think an Couger Eliminator scoop or Mustang Boss 429 scoop might look better.

The Boss 429 scoop might look good. If somebody photoshops the shaker, please also do/show a teardrop ('64-66) Galaxie type).

I had a 1969 Mustang/Torino CJ hood scoop (the one with the turn signals at the rear) on my 1971 LTD years ago, the little grille matched the LTD grille and it looked stock, it might look good on a MM too (nut might need vertical grill slits to match the MM grille...

How about an '80-'81 Z28 scoop?:dunno: I also really liked Zacks on his black, looked really sharp.
