definitely not factory, its either a clone or a custom interior

Ya, gotta be a clone as there were no burgandy MMs produced.

RIP, Jim from Lake Co. Ohio, made a '99 clone with a tan interior, that I had made a deal to buy, a week later he died of a massive heart attach, it was fantastic. He also made a DTR, finished it about a month before his death, but it was a salvaged MM.

I saw this '99 clone with tan interior at Marauderville (MV III)/Woodward Dream Cruise (WDC) back in August 2005. Very few visible indications that it was a clone. I noticed the tan interior as he was backing into a parking space at the Burger King across from Dugan's Irish Pub and said "WTF??" The rest of the gang including Steve Babcock and Jerry Barnes came over to point out some of the differences including wheel offset and front suspension. Everything else was there including the 4.6L DOHC 32v, polished Megs exhaust tips, and rear fascia. Last I saw Jim & Barb was at Carlisle in 2009. They were in Barb's Blue MM.

Last I saw Jim & Barb was at Carlisle in 2009. They were in Barb's Blue MM. ...which Jim also rebuilt, making a grand total of 3 bad-ass cars he made while he was with us. IIRC Barb's Blue was an original blue that was salvaged due to theft, and he brought it back.

I am really saddened to hear this news. Jim and Barb have popped in at several MM.Net events over the years. Thought I saw a brief reference to Jim's untimely passing not too long ofter the Carlisle 2009 event but wasn't quite sure whether it was Jim of the Jim & Barb connection.

Belated condolences to all who knew Jim and to his family. :bigcry:

Very Sad indeed.
