Never use a human skin/hair cleaning product on the paint of a car. They actually make car wash and then there is car shampoo.

Then you need to use some good car shampoo, clay bar and wax it with some Dodo Juice Purple Haze wax, works great on black painted cars.

Did he only mean for after it was painted? I know you aren't supposed to wax your car etc for like a month or so.

I think your paint guy is nuts. There is alot of added stuff in shampoo that will make a film on paint like all those conditioners. Stick to the regular car wash stuff, its probably cheaper too.

Turtle Wax 'ICE' car wash is awesome! I've used a lot of different car wash soaps and TW 'ICE' is the best.
Tons of bubbles/suds and they last for the entire car wash.

You wouldn't use car wash as a shampoo, don't use shampoo as a car wash.

So that might explain why, just like the top of my head, the paint in the roof of the Marauder is getting quite thin!....and happenning quickly.
