Tomorrow (Saturday) I am dropping my car off for service.

With 53XXX miles throw out your service issues.

On the list (but not everything)

O-L-F, trans flush, colant fulsh, rear grear oil changed, fuel filter, tire rotation + front end alinement. (245's all the way around 300A)

Some small body/paint issues (beagles are hard on a car)

Tune-up is not due yet.

Our manuals say 100,000 miles for Gear Lube change.
Also, you should be able to go for 100,000 miles for Coolant.

I from the old school and managed a fleet of trucks(very hi-mileage)for over 10 years and that taught me not to always go by the book.

Tune-up was preformed and 35XXX:)

Good one, I wonder how many of us never even pull the cover off to look at it?

Thanks again:up:

Jim, if you're having the differential lube done, consider using 75W-140 synthetic. That's what Ford supplies with the axle TSB kits.
