I just ordered OEM Motorcraft shocks today. From what I have read here, you cant go wrong with stock . Rockauto was the cheapest I found...$140 shipped for both.

OEM's are hard to beat. They are made by Tokico.

OEM's are best, however I did some work on Krytin's car yesterday and he has the KYB gas adjust and they handled the bumps extremely well on my road test although they are a bit more "sporty" vs the OEM's.

True Dat!
The KYB's are as Tom says - a little more sporty than OEM and the ride is better than it has been since I first installed the QA-1's (the used ones I took off are available for anyone foolish enough to try them - they are in need of major overhaul).
Thanks again Tom

When mine leaked...I went OEM. Didn't want to change the ride quality from stock.

Production date should be on your door sticker.... but as mentioned, it should not make a difference. I have first-hand knowledge that there are only two OE service shocks for the '03-04 Marauder:
Front 7W3Z-18124-H (ASH1153) and Rear 7W3Z-18125-H (ASH1152)

Read my signature regarding what is needed for the stock replacement rear shocks.
Also, PM me your VIN if you want the build date of your MM.
