After quite an ordeal I brought home this black beauty

Was looking at newer cars, mostly 06-09 Town cars, pondering some CTS and maybe a LS. Suddenly I saw this beauty listed on Autotrader. It was in MASS which I was restricting my search to for Lemon Law and other reasons.
I am not a stranger to the Panther chassis, had my first back in 2003, a lowly 93 Crown Vic P-71 (Former Police)

Then I added a 2001 Crown Vic P-73 (Base model) in 2005

I added the 17" wheels and dual exhaust, 3.55 Trac Loc and a few other goodies over the years
just traded it in yesterday for the Marauder.

I had both of those cars for some time had loaned out the P71 a few times and used it to haul furniture. I had found a set of leather seats from a 92 Grand Marquis LS which matched the interior color perfectly so it was a sweet ride.

In 2007 the P-71 had finally been killed and I did like having a spare car so we picked up a nice 94 Town Car Executive

Got it with 148K now it has 185 K Just gave this to the Wifes Mother a few months ago. I was shocked how solid this car was, less rattles and squeeks than the 01.
Picked up a 96 Town Car Signature last year with a misfire. Turned out with bad compression in #3 and needs an engine so ended up hanging on to the 94 a bit longer. Still runs but awaiting an engine transplant. NICE riding car even with 228K, very comfy. Getting a 04 or newer 2V 4.6 for it. It's really amazing how many changes were done between the 94 and 96 models. The redisigned interior is so much better, the 94 and older cars have much less travel for the front seats so my knee hits the dash etc..

I have had two 5.0, 5 speed Fox body stangs a 91 Hatch I bought new but got stolen twice, and a 90 notch I got used and spend far too much time fixing
I also have a 74 Chevy Laguna (that's where the Chevyguy comes from!!)
First Car was a 72 Malibu with a 350 real crap-box even back in 84
then had a 77 Monte carlo with a 305 then My dads 79 Impala 350 4 bbl
Got my buddys moms car a 73 Malibu with a 6 cyl. Put the 305 from the Monte in it and warmed it up.
Then got a 74 Laguna

Yes the 80's vintage sidepipes are functional!!
Never expected to end up with a Marauder, it's going to be my driver so don't cringe too much :) The Lincoln will get the brunt of the sloppy winter driving so that will make me feel better.
