SOLD! ! ! ! I WISH TO THANK THE MM COMMUNITY
THANKS! ! ! For all the fixit suggestions, and for all the great stories. Although I was registered in Aug of 2006 I didn’t post much. I just enjoyed everyone else’s posts. This is a remarkable community to belong to. Old habits are hard to break, so I will always be lurking. Live long and prosper!!

For Sale 2003 Mercury Marauder. 81,000 miles Reason for selling ?? Health …. I am a cancer patient as well as a Diabetic. My one functioning Kidney is at about 40% (thanks to being a diabetic for years before being diagnosed) Am going to have to be on Dialysis soon, so I am getting rid of all the things that cost me money and or payments. I love my car even tho it has the typical MM problems. Here is a list of a few things that have been done to the car. The GOOD
1. Trilogy #109---Complete stock kit, then went with a 3.2 pulley. (Upgraded) Fuel now reads boost, as well as relocated the IAT. Thanks Dennis Reinhart
2. 2004 low mileage motor. I did not like the way it puffed blue on start up plus two cylinders were down on compression. I had Dennis Reinhart install the 2004 motor.
3. Dyno tune by Dennis Reinhart 431.7hp & 416ft lbs of torque.
4. Addco front and rear sway bars
5. SCT 90m Mass Air Flow and SCT tuner (2 tunes) By Dennis R
6. Rear head cooling mod -Thanks Dennis R
7. JLT CAI
8. 3.73 gears.
9. Tinted windows (Texas Legal)
10. New LCM
11. Rear Stud girdle
Now the bad. I AM GOING TO BE UPFRONT ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE CAR. It has the usual nicks, bumps and scratches from being a daily driver.
Exterior is about (on a scale from 1-10) 6.5-7.0 My daughter was in a hurry and she backed in to my front bumper and it is now a spider web..
The car was originally a salvage title. I have not had a problem with what has been done to fix it. The car turns heads wherever I go and I get compliments all the time. No driving issues. Because of being salvage title the car looses any premium value it ever had. I realize this and the price reflects this, 8900.00 or best offer no trades.
Interior is about an 8-8.5. It is a non smoker but the drivers seat is worn, No rips or tears just worn. The rest of the leather is in real good condition (Just me and my Wife). The dash has a nick on it from the collision early on from the previous owner.
The engine and tranny I would give a 9-9.5. Nothing wrong here. Gives me goose bumps every time I start it.
The exhaust is stock with the addition of Magnaflows. (Still Very Quiet)
Rear end 6.5-7.0. It works flawlessly and has 30,000 miles and 373 gears. I bought the rear end as a complete working unit from a member here saying that it was working perfect with no whining. I had a FORD ASE certified Mechanic take out my leaky but working rear end and install the new one with the 373’s and the first thing I noticed was a whine. Not loud by any means but you can still hear it. But it functions perfectly. The tractionloc is working quite well. The old rear end goes with the car.
Last but not least, the a/c quit working this spring and I was quoted a price of 800.00 to fix it. At the time I knew my health was going down so I elected not to fix and it has since not been done.
This car as stated is NOT pristine and I would not try to deceive anybody here. I am only asking $8900.00 or best offer(this is how much I owe). This makes a heck of a daily driver. Leave your good Garage queen in the garage and drive this one.
Since I still owe the bank, we will have to make arrangements with the bank and pay them off directly, and the title can either be sent to you or your bank.( I will provide you with the information) then you can have the car. I will try to make it so the money will not come to my hands. But goes straight to your bank.
I need this sold so I can concentrate on my health and financial matters. Please go to the link provided for the pics
If you have questions pm me, or my e-mail is lastdaze04@yahoo.com
I have not taken this car to the track, since the motor and pulley upgrade. Just a few stoplight to stoplight skirmishes. A total blast to drive Thanks for looking. If it don’t sell here it goes on Craig’s list next.
I also have the Trilogy install manual that goes w/the car.
Rick
