OK - from my understanding the rear O2 sensors are shut off in my tune so they are not a concern.

I want to replace both front O2 sensors. I am being quoted a price of $74.xx apiece.

I would like to keep to OEM.

Anyone got a (new) pair cheaper? Know a source where I can save some $?

Thanks!

Make sure the replacement sensor has a Ford Logo on it...anything else does not work as good and has been proven by a few tuners.

Right - as I have been told I want Ford OEM replacements.

Blackened, are those prices for Ford parts? I see a Motorcraft part in there but want to check. That should be Ford, right?

Thanks!

Even better! I didnt see the motorcraft at a quick glance so I went on the hunt for the OEM.

Why do you think they need replacing??

I had a check engine light and thought it was my front O2's so I replaced them with MotorCrafts from Rock Auto and the old ones were OK at over 200K miles!!!

I had another minor problem that was more or less my error...fixed and all is well!!

BTW.....the driver's side one is a P-I-T-A get out and install unless you have a O2 socket.....GET ONE IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE!!!:bandit:

Datalog them if you can. They should bounce rich to lean atleast 8 times every 10 seconds.

I did - passenger looks like it could be on its way out (doesn't match driver's side which still looks OK) and as long as I am doing 1 I am doing both.

Mine have 95K on them over 7.5 years. At $37 apiece I would ask why would I NOT do them, especially running a Trilogy kit and other mods? :cool4:

(and wanting to race Saturday)

My plugs don't need to be replaced every Spring either, but I do it.

Or do people think I shouldn't change the oil at every fillup?

Just remember when I eventually sell this car, how well I take care of it, because then I can sell it for more... :P

I witnesses said data-logging session. The B side hovered right around .95 and rarely ever went above 1.0. The A side bounced over/under 1.0 consistently, thus the suggestion to replace them.

LTFT's were right on the money at 1.0.

Now I wish I had a trilogy in my beater marauder!
