Hello everyone. I'm looking into buying some HID's for the MM. Has anyone ever installed their own HID's (head lights and fog lights) in their MM, is it a difficult job, and what place would you recommend getting these HID's from?

I have also done the fogs and headlights from ddmtuining. I have used both the slim and apexcone kits. I would use their slim ballast if I were you.

I sourced my HID (Hi & Lo) from eBay. Yes it's Hi & Lo HIDs so there are 4 ballasts to mount. I just look for kits that ship from the US. I have H1 HIDs for the foglights, just haven't had the time to install them. I will have them done for Marauderville VIII.
I posted pictures of 2 MMs side by side, one with HIDs one without. I also have pictures of what the HIDs look like down the road.

And do they have hi/low kits that come together or are they separate?

I'd recommend the ddmtuning kit. Easy plug and play and just allow yourself time so you don't rush things and miss something.
Either the DDM HID Slim ballast (35 watt) or DDM Slim HID kit with Internal Igniter (35 watts). I ordered 2 sets of the DDM slim hid kit with the internal igniter, one to do Marauder fogs and the other for my Taurus' fogs.

Check you owners manual.
Here are the types of HID headlights you can get:
Cheapest - HID bulb - no Hi beams - 2 ballasts
HID bulb for Lo beams and halogen bulbs for Hi beams - 2 ballasts
HID bulb that mechanically moves up & down giving you HI & Lo beams - 2 ballasts
Most Expensive - Dual HID bulbs, one for Hi beams & one for Lo beams, 4 ballasts.

9007 for the headlight
H1 for the foglight

If you do get them through DDMtuning you'll have to select the one that says "9007 (hi/low) + $20.00" for the headlight bulb.

See if you can find a member up in the NW area that would be willing to get them for you and then ship them to you. That has to be cheaper.
One nice thing about the DDM kits is they cost just a little bit more than halogen lights (talking about Silverstars and the Ultras), come with a lifetime warranty and offer better light per dollar amount.

I would say they are just Lo beam only since the website doesn't offer any 4-ballast systems.

Are you free Friday say... after 11am? I'm going to be tied up with kids sports after work this week but Friday I am off at 10am and was going to stick around my shop for a while since I'd have to come back down this way for plans later on.
