Hello fellow Canadian MM owners and fans!
There must be a bunch of local owners since this is the MM's home turf but i havn't seen many MM's over the years and havn't seen any local members here as of yet.
I'm a new and very happy MM owner and while my regular mechanic is competent i wonder if there are any local mechanics who know the MM's better at least for MM specific issues.

"I plan to attend next year as well"
Do you know for sure if there is another event next year? I will for sure attend if there is one next year. Sad to see the plant, it's quality workforce and the panthers set to dissappear soon.
As the crow flies you are a local, 40 or 50 miles to the plant!

What I was led to believe based on what I heard was that we would be welcomed back if the plant was still open...which they did indicate they expected to be producing cars (at least CVPIs) into summer 2011.
There was a long thread about it (click HERE (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58087&highlight=STAP&page=7), look for the CrownVic.net link which had the itinerary).
Serge (Bluemobile) was the go-to guy and did a great job with it this year. Hopefully he will be the go-to guy next year as well.

I am about 1 hour down the road in Chatham. I sold my first Marauder to a guy in London last year and bought my current one in Belmont from a guy that used to work at St. Thomas assembly. Not too many members from these parts but a few Marauders that I know of.

Hey that's a nice clean looking CVPI markilla! I have lots of cousins in the petrolia-wyoming area.
I know we have a member here from Mt. Brydges, another in Kitchener, and one in belmont{?}. I just don't see many in the London-St.Thomas area which is wierd when you consiter there are thousands of current and retired STAP workers. I would have thought would be lots around, i can't remember one for sale in this area.
