Hello fellow MM fans. I have a question that I've searched on but I cannot find an answer. What Throttle Bodies are you using? I'm wanting to upgrade but sadly, I don't seem to be finding anything. Thanks everyone for your help! -j

The Accufab TB for a Mach1 works, the 60mm is a perfect match for the intake opening. Billetflow specialties also make's one specific for the MM

Its more for show then go. I picked up a single peak rwhp and about 5rwhp across the board. The accufab twinbore is the most popular one for the Marauder, just at $350 its not really worth it.

I checked out billetflow.com's website and I didn't find anything Mercury Marauder specific.
From what I'm gathering, there isn't any real upgradeable throttle body for a N/A engine. Am I wrong? Thanks everyone! -j

As stated before, it really does not add much power to a NA engine. It does make the throttle more responsive. I bought mine on the original group buy here. If I had to do it again I'd buy a used one.

There have been others with more gains reported.

Used one is what I got. Again I'm happy with mine especially with my new port & polished upper.

Thanks everyone! I'll take this information and I'll put it to good use. I really do appreciate everything, especially since I'm a new owner of a Red 04 Rauder. I pick it up tomorrow morning! She's pretty cherry. Only 53k miles. 92 year old man drove it. Can you believe it!?!?!? I'll keep everyone up to date with her. Thanks again.

The Accufab TB I bought from americanmuscle.com for the 03-03 mach 1s fitted perfectly but the cruise control cable won't quite reach. I could take it off and put the old one back on again, but I like the way the accufab tb looks.

No cruise control? I've got an Accufab ready to install, but don't want to loose cc. Comments?

My cruise control cable reached and connected like the OEM throttlebody. Im wondering if the Mach throttlebody is the one we use or the cobra?

Here's what I got back from Dragon:
Hello. I’m looking for a throttle body for my 04 Mercury Marauder.
Do you have anything that will work?
Thank you so much!
And thank you for making it in America!!!!!!!
Sincerely yours,
-j
Jeffrey L. Roark
Hi Jeffrey,
We don't currently have anything that will work without alot of modifying done to the intake manifold and rerouting the IAC.

I live in the mountains of VA. Near TN, KY and WV.
And yes, I saw all the trade in paperwork including the copy of his driver's license. He was 92. No joke.

Okay everyone! You're making me laugh real hard! Come on, what's wrong with VA? :-) I can't say much since it looks like I'm moving to PA within 18 or so months. Somewhere near Pittsburg. Have a great one!!!!!!! (P.S. I'm taking delivery of my red 04 MM tomorrow!!! Yeah!)
