Hello fellow MM enthusiast.
Does anyone know of a place where I can ship off my original MM rims, have the curb rash fixed (from previous owner, 92 year old dude), and possibly re-chromed for a reasonable price? I've so far found a place that will do them for $300 a wheel, but dang, I can buy a refurbished wheel for that. Please help, I hate the curb rash and it makes my reputation look bad.
Thanks to all! I mean it!!!

Yeah, I'm shipping my rears to them this winter, but I didn't think they did chrome. BTW did you check the last Throttle Body post from me?

Well yeah. Anyone could google anything, but what I'm asking is MercuryMarauder.net for help. Who has dealt with this sort of thing and who do they recommend? Don't hand me a blanketed "google rim repair" and expect me to accept that. Nothing doing Batman. I'm an old Green Beret and I expect a lot more than that. Thank you and good day.

If I send refurbished chrome wheels to you, you can add to the rear 1.5 inches without boogering them up? I'm quite sure you can but I have to ask. Thanks!

Blk Mamba. If you don't have anything to help this thread, please don't leave your Jarhead two cents. Nothing I have said is disrespecting to anyone on here. I try to be as courteous as possible. Thank you. -j

I am a new marauder owner and have been busy caring for the car, it's been fun. One of the things I did recently was getting rid of some rust like spots on one of the rims. Things were looking really good, all four rims looked pretty nice. However, two days ago I was making a 'u' turn, I thought I had plenty of room so I proceeded with confidence. I was wrong, by the time the tire touched the curb it was too late, I kept going forward and cringed at the feel and sound. I tried not thinking about it and actually forgot about it for about 2 hours until I saw the rim.:mad2:I can't believe I did this to my car! I can't remember doing this to any other car. :banghead: You guys here are all so good about taking care of your cars that I feel inadequate posting but had to vent somehow. I'll be doing some research on tire rash repair. I can't see myself spending too much $ on this at this time though. The car purchase cost me several brownie points and I am planning on spending some more $ on mods.

I didn't know that! :(
I've got one rim that has some serious "curb rash" and want to have it repaired. Anyone know the average price to repair our factory rims?
Thanks in advance!
