Hey anyone see/use the new Trans from TCI?
6X Six Speed Trans is based on GMs 4L80 850HP rating.

My dad has one of these to install on his 04 H! hummer. He even got the radio transmitter connect paddle shifters... They are made well too. All billet paddles etc... Even has a small display screen to tell what gear u manually shifted into etc...

Now I have something else to consider beside the T56!!
At least I wouldn't have to install a clutch pedal!

I checked out that transmission when I saw it in a Summit catalog.
Everything looks great except for the $6,000+ price tag....

While the TCI 6x trans seems like a fun idea it's 1st gear is better but it's 6th gear would give us worse gas mileage:(
The 6r's really low 1st gear would pull like a monster:D and 6th gear would be a little better for gas mileage. We could leave the 3.55 and get 1 or 2 mpg better on the freeway. Physically it will fit but there is currently no aftermarket control module that I have found yet so tuning may be an issue maybe some day.

With the first gear in that 6r what would first be good till? 20mph? NA marauders could use some of that action

Don't forget we'd get tow/haul mode with the 6Rxx... :D That would be such an awesome tranny; hopefully the aftermarket usual suspects come out with a standalone controller that isn't gonna break the bank...
