The Most Awesome Marauder I Ever Saw !

:cool: The other day I was driving my MM up Knights Road in Northeast Philadelphia next to the Franklin Mills Mall when I heard this awesome sounding exhaust and a Marauder literally blew buy me. It sounded incredible, like no other Marauder I ever saw or heard. Black with Charcoal interior. I finally caught up to the guy at the traffice light at Street and Knights Road. Only could chat about 30 seconds before the light changed. He advised me the car was completely factory built but was a special order with a HO Engine which he said had bigger fuel injectors but that didn't explain the really cool exhaust sound. The guy's MM also had the crome inserts in the bumper that spelled Marauder which I know are after market. I have no idea who the guy was but when the light changed it sounded close to a Mustang Cobra in flight and he took off like a rocket. Did anyone ever hear of a special order high output Marauder ? And who was this masked man anyway ? I told him to go on Mercury Marauder.net before he blasted off. WOW ! What a ride. Like no Marauder I've ever seen. It was really the quickest MM I've ever seen ! Man it was quick !

Better not have been my brother-in-law riding around in mine. My MM still has stock exhaust and he knows there wasn't any HO option. Now his Stang and his friend's Mach 1 are both very loud.

If he had bigger fuel injectors there had to be a need for it; never heard of a HO order option for the MM. Flowmasters do make them sound really good. Now if he replaced the original motor with the SVT Cobra Block then thats another story.

Why would that be a different story? Same displacement unless it's an 03/04 with blower setup. I have a forged Termi block and it sounds/moves the same as my original block. Just can take a lot more abuse.
