hey All --

I am thinking about a Marauder in 2004 before they are gone...anyone ever use a Ford/Merc/Lincoln X-Plan # when buying a Marauder & how much did you save...were you still eligible for the incentives, financing, etc.. ?

THx!

Do a search on "X-plan." More than a couple of threads on the subject. You still get any eligible incentives and financing.

I done Z-plan saved $5000 but on average X is $1500 to $2000. But this is not always the case. But you need a PIN # and a willing dealer. But this last thing I wouldn't worry to much as they would want to get the vehicles off the lots.

Could be Late 2003 or if its anything but Black then it is a 300B.

<<-- complete MM newbie 300B is approx. Nov. 2002 thru the end of production for the 2003s. 2004 starts as a 300A. Any blue or silver 2003s will be 300Bs. A black 2003 could be an A or B. Plenty of threads on the difference between the two.

Go to Ford Partner website if you are elgible for the X-plan, get a number then link to the Mercury website which will give you the exact X-plan price. I saved over 2k. Good luck.

I'm not sure why but when I was making my deal the dealer was able to make a better deal without my x-plan pricing rather than with.
