Trouble starting

just started a day ago or so its wierd it sometimes starts kinda weak sometimes its just fine and then at times it wont start at all but ill turn the ignition back for a sec then try again and it turns over any idears. Also my compass does not work but the other night it turned on for one drive once i turned the car off and hasnt came back on,.

Check for corrosion on the battery terminals and starter.

Could this be something with the sunvisor screw hitting the harness in the roof I just read about? Or Two different issues.

dunno the compass hasnt worked since i bought it but the other night it did randomly and the funny starting is recent. the volt meter reads good so dont think its battery.

As for the starting, it may be in the fuel system - pump. relay, filter or whatever.
