its hit or miss, thats why they suck. ive seen some that clear everything and the starter goes in in one piece. mine gotta be one of the worst sets made. ground as much as i feel comfortable off the steering shaft and moved it over as much as possible to barely have enought room to clear. and my starter goes in in 2 pieces.

I have all the issues, starter goes in with the solenoid off, steering shaft clearance, and had to repair the welds twice.
If I have to buy a set to replace these it will be SS works or Mach 1 headers.

I can't say anything about SW but my KooKs went on with no starter cleaance issues,or steering shaft issues, may be the latest one have been corrected??
I asked Lidio which he thought were better and he says KooKs this is why I went with them over SW.
To each there own!:coolman:

can you get the stainless works with a 2.5" or 2.25" collector? what about the kooks? one collector size only?........what im trying to ask is what are all the sizes available for both sets(collectors and tubes)?
