Any pictures of the 2003 roof console?

I have the small 2004 console even though it has no moonroof. There are 2 designs for 2004 according to the owners manual.

Anyhoo, this is awfully big for only 2 buttons, a small LED panel and 2 lights. It really needs a small cubby storage for sunglasses etc..

Does the larger 2003 type have a storage bin, would this fit into the 2004 without any drama (Ford is famous for making something appear easy but actually needs welding to swap etc..)

Any pics of the 2003 console? argh I don't have a shot of mine to post :help:

It has an additional dome light which would be centrally located and a flip out compartment to hold 2 pairs of sunglasses.... to install the larger unit the headliner must be cut out. The small console has 4 clips and 1 screw, The large has the same plus 2 more screws and 2 more clips but can be installed if you make a hook that will slide up through the headliner to hold the back end up tight... at least that is what I did and its working out great.

Mine also has a programmable garage door opener transmitter, just set it up last night...

I think it was available in the grand marquis and crown vic lx and lx sport..... not a 100% sure though
