As part of my celebration present to myself for soon being divorced I'm doing a bunch of stuff to the MM which include gauges that I've wanted for a long time now.

I'm looking at getting Oil psi, Oil Temp (maybe), Water Temp, Trans Temp, Boost/Vacuum and maybe a wideband.

I see some (alike stock Ultra-Lite) gauges I want that are Full Sweep and some are also listed under Short Sweep listing.

What is the big difference really between the two and for the people who do have gauges what did you end up getting FS or SS?

Nothing at all.

I like the short sweep.
After reading up some more I think that's all I really need.

Short sweep matches the stockers. I have short sweep in the factory gauge pod and full sweep in the a-pillar pod.

SS=90 degree needle/reading sweep. FS= 270 degree needle/reading sweep. It's a personal preference unless you want smaller increments, then use the FS.

Some Autometer gauges are only available in full sweep.
