The thing really is a beast! If I ever needed proof that America won WWII this is it!

And I wish I could have seen the look on the other drivers' faces when that big white monster comes up from behind and passes them like they're standing still!

Below is the excerpt from the link above--NOTE--the reference to Holman/Moody!!

This is RAD. Some schmuck got enough balls and cash together in order to get his Holman Moody prepared 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 to Germany. The final goal? Attack Nurburgring.

AT MVIII we will have a Banner from Holman/moody and possibly a celebratory show from Mr.Lee Holman himself..son of the famous Dad who got Marauder started in NASCAR---who probable built the car is this link and can talk about it-----hope your attending to find out--!!

"Now, typically when you watch in-car “Ring” videos you hear small displacement motors with lots of valves screaming in a high pitched tone while you watch the driver smoothly caress the car through the track. It’s a ballet of sorts.
This is something different. This is an American monster literally attacking the track while the driver does his best to contain the power within. It’s not a ballet, it’s a war."

American monster I love it :D.

i think it dispayed as KPH. but thats still impressive.

I was thinking that too.

255 kph = 158.449654 mph

Still damn impressive for something that has the aerodynamics of a brick.

Look at the cars he blew by. The best story is the Ford GT40.

I've played too much Forza, I can pretty confidently recognize where he's at throughout the majority of the track.

Yep same here and also played all the PGR games.

Loved listening to the roaring V8. Thanks for sharing!

AWESOME video!....:bows:

Listening to that 427 FE howl down the straights gave me goosebumps!

It was fun to watch a 45 year old American sedan blow past all the other 'sports' cars!

This is my favorite track in Gran Turismos and Forzas, I would be pretty confident if I had the chance to rip through the 'Ring in person.

So watching that vid reminded me of A Marauder that was racing through a road coarse and got a flat on a turn....it spun and didnt hit anything....any one recall that vid?....cant remember what member it was, it was posted here once a while back.

Looks like my Monday morning sprint to Dunkin' Donuts.

I don't think this track is the Nurburgring that we see Cadillac racing around. Might be a shorter version or a track near the "Ring" Nurburgring has much longer straights to wind it out. We would have seen speeds over 300kph at the "Ring". Awesome video none the less.

That was Wesman up here in Canada, at Mosport. Unfortunately the video link doesn't work anymore :(
