View Full Version : 2002 Kenny Brown Panther questions
Just recently found a lead on a 2002 Panther with ~23K original miles, supercharged, with brembos, clean car from photos. The seller wants $13K. Is this a good deal? are replacement parts available? How did these motors hold up to being supercharged?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum but im semi excited about this car and need all the info i can get...

More info would be helpful - CV or GM, option content? Personally have no information on the 2V, but suspect the iron block will respond well to the boost, and is reaspnibly strong. What SC, how much boost?
its the eaton/allen blower... it looks to be all crown victoria options. Silver with black leather, multifunction steering.
The car is located in tennessee so while im leary of buying a car (of this nature) sight unseen, it seems like too good a deal to pass up.
your opinions please...

My opinion would be buy a super charged Marauder with that 13 grand.
i was thinking the same thing but something about this car.... and the low miles...
im more worried about the durability of the 2v with the blower and the trans behind it than anything else...
i called the guy... its $11,900

Kenny Brown is a well-respected name in the aftermarket. I would have faith that this car was built correctly.
I know there is at least one member here with an Allen setup, so maybe he'll see this and chime in, but I've read that they were well engineered and fairly conservative, so unless the previous owner really beat on it hard, it should hold up well.

They are very nice and rare cars, is it a p1 or p2. I'd go for it.

If it looks like ^^^ this one. 12K is a good deal I'd say.
