Okay after waiting around to put headers on, I decided to go ahead and get on the dyno now and put the headers on later. With that said I'm now looking for a 4lb lower w/hub for a Trilogy set up to add when I do my headers/exhaust set up next month. Thanks.
BTW: Those numbers are with a MMR 4.6 Street Mod 900 / Trilogy with a 3.0 pulley @7psi

You have a LOT more you can squeeze out safely.
I have an adaptor that was custom made for a 4# cobra crank pulley.
Rich long had 2 made up.
I would try getting in touch with him. (unless someone here knows something I don't)
Before you go looking for parts, find your boost leak/problem.

Dont know if there is a boost leak issue but i do think the car should be making well over 400rwhp the way its setup?
7#'s of boost seems too low, especially with the 3.0 pulley.

First off, MMR engines are hit or miss.
Ruling the engine out, and knowing there is a pulley installed that should make 12psi, where is the boost?
Not sure if it is an 8.5:1 engine or not but even so 7# is way too low.

why'd you go with 8.5:1??

I didn't say anything about 8.5:1 being bad, I'm one of those running low comp too. Just wondering the reason for the choice

Full point of compression worth 20-25rwhp (1.5CR). What else have you done? Head work, cams? Is it me? Going with a forged shortblock doesn't mean you will net more power? Just that with the forged sb your engine will be able withstand higher tolerances from a power adder. So I assume you went with lower compression because you wanted to go big boost on the SC? What were you making before the forged sb?
Keep us in the loop as your build progresses.

He went with low compression cause it was availible at the right time for the right price.;)

What else have you done? Head work, cams? No head work. everthing else is still stock for now
So I assume you went with lower compression because you wanted to go big boost on the SC? Not to big, just wanted something stronger as my stock MM engine never made it to the dyno
What were you making before the forged sb? Nothing, First set of numbers since install

^^Ok too bad you didnt dyno prior to the new build so you can gage power improvements. Well, you have the motor to turn up the boost for sure. That MMR motor has a nice set of Manley rods and pistons that will handle what you want to throw at it (900rw). Just get your tune dialed in (boost 7#??) after your done with the break in/exhaust!
Good luck bud!

Don’t if this is the only source (of a leak) of my missing 3psi but either way still needed to be addressed. This is coming from the boost gauge the fits into the t-connector. Auto meter states they will send me one being it is not one of the accessories you can buy...Going do some more searching tomorrow.
Thanks Zack and Chris.

My 3.2 pulley made 11.4 PSI and 445 RWP with no other mods except lightning MAF, MAFia, and a cone filter. Somethings up.

No updates,...it was raining yesterday, going to do some more searching this weekend, then turn over to Chris and see what he comes up with...have a new belt put on just in case. If nothing is found back to the dyno with fingers crossed.

Update:
An autometer replacement came in Friday (great customer service) changed it out this morning couldn’t find anything else.
BTW: I forgot to mention after talking with Chris and following up with the leak suggestion by Zack. I learned that the boost gauge would stay at 0 and would only move at WOT and return to 0…wasn’t reading vacuum at all…hence discovery of the cracked rubber.
Probably will not make it back to the dyno until like mid Oct

Well I thought I go and get this tune done so I'll be ready for the New Year and before this weather makes a turn for the worst. Well after fixing boost leak (Thanks Zack), changing of blower belt (Thanks Chris and Nate) and install of killer headers (Thanks musclemerc) and exhaust (Thanks MBS) and Doom for all the enlighten. Now to focus on the inside for the winter. Did mention I'm :banana2::banana2::banana2:
Final numbers 444 RWHP/421 RWTQ @ 12 psi

Still sounding good I hope! The guy that did you exhaust Greg is on here now as "malibuguy".

Speed could you post up a few pics of the JBA mid length headers?
Maybe start a post so others know how your install turned out.

I have one pic but it’s not the best quality. I have plans to take it to the auto craft shop on post but have to take the training class first but if catch a wild hair and go with this 2.8 pulley I'll snap couple of shots then.
BTW: the install went fine, MBS did all the work. I just showed with a ***** eatin smile

Your the first to run a JBA mid length header successfully on a Marauder, proving there are other header options out there other then dropping $2000.00~$3000.00 on custom made LT's you just gotta be willing to to go against the grain a little. I bet the Bassani Mid's will also work without any issues. Hmmmmm ;)
Congratulation's

Umm for years now it hasn't been a secret that non marauder specific headers work on the car. . . I dunno who is spending 3000 on LTs :shake:

What was the A/F and the sheet is set to standard

STD and AFR of 5. The 7 psi was with my first run, that issue (boost leak and belt slippage) has since been fixed

I hope you mean your A/F is 11.5 and when the dyno is set to standard has been explained here many times, it should be SAE. Good numbers for 7 PSI 7x15=105 add that to 233 this comes out to 338 but with headers and a good tuner you are in the accepted range for your Eaton conversion.

I'll try to make this quick just for you Suki.
1) As I stated no one has run a mid length non MM specific header other than Speed. There is only 2 company's that make mid lengths JBA and Bassani
2)If you read the thread and not just my connents you would know he has a full mandrel bent system all the way to the tips
3)A SW header setup comparable to his will sost $2531.02 before shipping
Here is a linky: http://www.stainlessworks.net/cart/index.php?cPath=481_484,
MAUHDR: $989.69
MAUEX-CAT $1541.43
4)Throw in shipping, installation cost, plus a dyno tune for the A/F ratio and you are well over $3000.00
He got these headers brand new for $300.00/ Magnaflow high flow cats were $93.00/ whatever MBS charged for the SS pipe and installation I can't say but I'm willing to bet he came in well under the $3000.00
That is all.... :burnout:

Whole system w/install, labor and tune cost me around 2300.00 out the door. I will try my best to get some picks this weekend and maybe a sample of how it sound.

lol I paid less than $1500 for LTs plus full 3", just because adding up the most expensive stuff possible = a certain amount doesn't mean anything. Dude by his own admission paid over 2G, so does that mean I can go around saying all mid length installs will be 2Gs? And actually there are cars out by me running mid lengths

The JBA headers also typically list for around $750-900 the same range as LTs not the $300 Speed paid. The SS Works and Kooks can be had at Jegs for less than $800 if I recall a link Bawazar had posted a while back. Just depends on where you shop at or who can get you the deal.
Anyways this thread isn't about what headers are better so lets try to keep the anti LT/shorty retoric to a minimum. Don't know why this always needs to become a pissing match when there are plenty of options and great ways to make power regardless of the type of headers or manifolds you run.
Speed nice numbers, I'm sure your loving the setup Congrats on the new power! Plenty of room to play if you want more, better to build it bulletproof than wait for it to blow.
