Okay guys. I have a friend who works for NAPA and can get me a great price on the NAPA P76025M fuel pump assembly replacement. Is it a good idea to go with NAPA rather than a new Ford/Mercury fuel pump? What do you guys think?
Specs:
30 gph
Pressure rating: 80 - 120
Packaging : box
Includes wiring harness and strainer.
What do you guys think?
Do you think Ford would install it for me? Just a thought!

Hey pm'ed you. Didn't realize you posted already. Napa is usually a good product, I just happened to go with the stock OEM pump from Ford, but even with a friend buying it I payed about 280.00 if I remember.:cool4:

You can get higher flowing pumps for cheaper... GT40 pumps are abundant out there. Focus svt pumps, Walbro... If you're going to spend the money and time, may as well...

i agree, i just got a brand new gt40 pump for 165 bucks shipped from rockauto.com
3days shipping. cant go wrong with that.
Well I dunno who makes the NAPA pumps but I had a Carter replacement for my 5.0 T-Bird fail in about 18 months... I ordered a high flow Walbro(they are OEM), and that one has been in there for over eight years...

I have always been under the opinion that mechanical parts from NAPA were good and the electrical ones were only so-so.
