It's not the neighborhood, it's being that one is from Chicago or not. I've just noticed a lotta people from The Windy City Marauders are from the suburbs. That's not Chicago. I am in Lincoln Park, maybe not for much longer though.

I just wanna know who is actually living in Chicago.

Me, Takedown and Uncle Lar is all I can think of.

Bridgeport is in Chicago, Lakeview is in Chicago.

Westmont is not nor is Skokie.

No it wasn't meant like that. It's just you don't have a Marauder or even a Panther anymore. I never meant to offend you, if I did I am sorry for that. If you could afford a BMW you could have easily gotten a Marauder, but you choose not to. You're kinda outta the picture with the car, but as far as you are concerned you're a great person. I am sure I am not the only one who would welcome back your company at a meet.

I would like to wish you good luck with the BMW. My dad had one like yours and let me tell you they have issues at 50,000 miles and the real pain starts at 105,000. He has been buying them for nearly 20 years and 5 BMWs later they still have the same issues at the same mileage, except for the X5... it was actually good quality. I certainly hope you have a warranty. It's a fun driver though.

So we aren't the real deal huh? NICE. Let it be known that "us" suburb "wanna be's" BUILT Chicago and continue to do so... We didn't like the way it turned out or the people who migrated there, so we chose to stay clear unless paid to come in..

yea, again, the reason i went with the BMW is because the marauder just didnt feel different enough for me to justify buying a new car. but i was originally looking for a marauder though. no warranty on the BMW, and yea reliability wise the marauder blows it out of the water. but thats not the reason i bought it, its a hell of a lot of fun to drive :D and the car has everything i want (sorry dont want to sound like a troll, just saying). i can go deeper into it but untill you drive the BMW you really cant understand lol.

BTW i am still trying to make it to one of the meets this summer with you guys :( its been a while and i miss you guys!!! :bigcry:

Sanco, I know what it's like to have that BMW. My dad had a 97 740IL for years. Before that was a 93 750IL. BMWs are nothing new to my life. I just know from experience that they may look good, but it's going to be a costly machine especially at the age yours is at now.

Good luck with everything though. It's still a cool car. Beats the heck outta the current generation. Screw iDrive.

yea i see a lot of marauders in the city. more so than anywhere else, i just dont think too many people care to join the site and (sad to say) even more of those owners dont really care about the car either.

I agree and disagree. The only part I disagree with is the owners not caring about the car. All people that I flagged down love it. From 2002 to now, every other dude loved. I have yet to find someone as attached to it as me.
