After some 80mph drives down the mountains from MV8, I would like new front tires. I was actually slightly understeering at times and it really scared me. I need to know what is a good performance tire for the front. I have little cheap tires in my front so I am not suprized by this.

What do you guys have? Anyone autocross with them?

I have nitto's 850 235/50/18 on all 4 corners and love them. They have help up well with mileage and drive great in dry/wet weather.

I autocrossed with oem bfg's front and rear and they stuck pretty well, the fronts plow pretty easily. I've heard nothin but good about nittos. Rode in aconvertedchevy's mm. He has nittos in all corners and sway bars front and rear and it handles like it's on rails . Good luck with the tire search

No issues with the OEMs at 37PSI in the mountains of ole Virginnie on I77. Course I do have Addcos F/R, Moog end links up front, ES out back, and Sparta CAs.

Yeah. My rears are Hankooks and they won me over. Why not go to the front? What size are you running up front?

Running stock size up front & 295's on the rears with widened wheels.

Wise choice, vehicle will track better with the same type of tread on all four corners. I was thinking about going with stock size but I think I will go with a 245/25 or 255/45-18 on the front when I replace mine in the next week or so. I'll be getting 265/50-18 nittos at the end of the month for the rear.
