What is the name of the hose I have circled in white on the picture? also do anybody know where i can find a replacement? Mine has a hole in the rubber part and it was causing my engine to jump I thought it was bad gas but my mechanic found the hole. My mechanic wants to replace it with a rubber hose but I would like to replace it with the same type of hose that is currently on there, I have black duct tape over the hole right now but i would like to get the hose replaced immediately. Autozone and pep boys dont carry it. I dont want to go to the delership so if anybody has an extra one laying around or know where i can get one online or in a store, I would more than appreciate it.

Is that Marauder white???

I think so. I believe that the only re-painted white is in Texas somewhere.

That is a silver burch, my MM is black I just used this pic since i had it on my desktop from a while back when i was trying to show my mechanic how the JLT CIA would look installed before I ordered mine. Any ideas as to how much it would cost if i order it thru ford?

It's part of the PCV system.

Call a dealer and ask what it costs.

I'm gonna say less than $10.00.............

Just ask for the rubber hose that connects the PCV valve to the hard line. Or o to the dealership a point it out on a picture

How far is Abilene from Dallas, I believe its like an hour or more. How much would you charge me for the hose and to ship? I will check with the dealership tomorrow but im sure they are going to want an arm and a leg just like they want for everything else.

Just buy a new one from Ford, all the ones I have replaced on other Ford's (I've only had my 'rauder for about 30 hours so I haven't done it on mine yet) come with the PCV valve and only costs a couple of $ more than buying just the valve from your local parts store. It is a "maintenance" item that is supposed to be replaced every 100K, so why mess with putting a used one in? When you go to Ford you can ask for the PCV valve, the PCV hose, or the PCV assembly you'll get the same thing either way.

Abraham,

ok...glad I still have the reciept....I picked up the two hoses (one on each side) this past week and I was told that 3W3Z-6758-BA replaces the 3W3Z-6C324-AA It just looks a little different from the original one I have on the Car...
Can you tell me if the other hose is correct....obviously the first one is not.
The second part that I got from Ford is 3W3Z-6758-BB.

The hose has the hole or the boot that the hose goes into attached to the upper plenum? If it's just the hose, I cut some to fit that was perfect from a parts store. I believe it was transmission line hose so it's impervious to oil/fuel, etc. (for $1.29)

Make one out of electrical 1/2" conduit

Can i replace just the rubber boot instead of replacing the entire hose? I really dont want to spend $50 bucks on that right now.

Ahhhh... The boot. If you don't want to spend that for now, put a slightly larger diameter hose around the spot that is leaking and throw a band clamp on it. Temporary fix mind you... And don't open the hood at car shows... :D

Take a closeup picture of the specific part you need. I may have one, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for in my box of leftover parts.

Do not put band clamps on the pipe.

The correct hose is a 19/32" pcv hose.

Yes, just replace the bad hose, as long as it fits good. That will be fine. But if you want it to pass a California Smog use fuel/evap hose not trans hose. The $50 should include the PCV valve.

Ok....checked under the hood and the hoses appear to be correct...the hose on the PCV (pass. side) is a little different where the PCV valve goes into it....but still looks good....will be putting them on today.

FYI...I got both the Pass. side hose and Dr. side hose together for 58 bucks from the dealer.

Not bad if you consider it will last another 7+ years. (Works out to about .018 pennies a day... and there's my 2cts...)
