I've brought my car back to the track as I do mods just to see the gains in each modification. Wanted to see where my car stands mod for mod against other MM's. Stock I ran between 15.4-15.6 with a best of 15.2. With just a Lidio tune last wednesday I ran a 14.569 at 95.31 with a 2.241 60' with limited wheelspin, had a second run, lots of wheelspin ran a 14.859 at 96.18 with an awful 2.548 60'. Intstalled my JLT intake last night and was wondering how much the gains have been from just a JLT and how it would affect 60' times and ET's. I'd like to be around 14.3 or 14.2 average run.

The CAI will probably get you about .1. Go ahead and do the u/d pullies as well, and you'll be close to your goal. 14.56 is pretty good for a tune only!

Thanks for the info. The tune is crazy, I can't believe I held off for that long! Now the mod bug has definitely struck... Not that it's a bad thing! I didn't notice a difference at first with the jlt until I punch it from a stop, now it just sits there and spins, time for some stickier tires! :D I'll look into ud pulleys but I was thinking about 4.10's. Which would you reccommend first? I don't have a ton of money since I'm still ironing out other issues before I do anything else (lcm troubles and some hoses I'd feel better if were replaced)

Hands down, I would go the gears before the pulleys.
PM fastblackmerc on the LCM, he can get you squared away for minimal cost.

I know the feeling, drivin around with my high beams on. I actually rewired my low beams on my hid kit to come on when my high beams are turned on. Working for now

Haha, until I did research on this site I thought my lights were messed up. I was getting ready to break out the multimeter till I read that sticky.

I know that's it's most likely been discussed here before but I searched a bunch of threads and found, "it'll wake your car up" how much roughly are 4.10's good for in the quarter?
About a half a second if you don't spin the tires much. May require a little different launch technique. Just practice for 100 feet. The difference is in the low end. Your 60 foot times should tell the story.
Don't need to put unnecessary wear and tear on the car.

I did 14.25 with a tune, JLT, ngk plugs, gms coil connectors, intake spacer, 2nd set of cats deleted, super 40 flowmaster, res delete tips and on 255/55-18 bfg kdw2 tires (effective 3.50 rear gear).
As Pat said practice your launch, that is the key with this car. Faster you can get the mass moving the easier it will be able to keep the mass moving down the track. I was launching at 2000 rpms. Now I can launch at 2500-2800 depending on if I am on a prepped track or just asphalt/concrete.
If all you have is the tune and now the intake I'd say with good launching 14.4x to 14.35 range.
I had a 3500 stall triple disc installed and went to 14.19 on a Zack tune and then tried some 255/50-16 bfg drag radials (effective 3.89 rear gear) and dropped down to 13.72.

I've been having problems launching period. If I'm rolling at like 5 mph and punch it it'll sit and spin let alone stopped powerbraking. If I launch at the track at 1500 I'll spin, fresh set of OEM BFG's in the back. I didn't spin before the tune... The intake made it worse, if I punch it at 30 it chirps the tires

Once the oem tires wear out god with some light truck tires. They will be stickier.
Ah Ha; you have one of the fast ones. My car could never spin the tires from a standing start stock or with CAI and tune.

Stock I could barely do a brakestand. The conditions had to be right.
