.. to work and back this week, and the low fuel light isn't on yet. I drive 4 miles to the freeway, then 12 miles on the interstate, then the rest of about 22 miles thru the country, between 45-55 miles an hour, with three little towns along the way, 35 mph. I think that's great

Good. I usually run 430 to 450 miles to the tank when I'm travelling to work. Mostly all interstate miles, averaging 65 to 72 mph.

I made it from Albany to Wilmington DE in 4 hours and got 23 mpg, pretty good for the first drive with my new V1 :banana:

I averaged 26.5mpg on my best run...speeds averaged 80mph, with occasional traffic and then occasional bursts up to 95 or 100...

That explains your gas mileage results. If boost was involved you'd be lucky to make 300 before it goes bone dry.

We drove 570+ miles up north (Michigan) and back (80% freeway or so) this weekend on a tank of gas. I figured it out to be an average of about 26 miles per gallon. I'm certainly not complaining. Wife's '09 Escape V-6 on the freeway MAYBE gets 22-24 MPG, average.

what race are you, and dad going to next year, Darlington? Not sure. I know we're leaning toward STAP. NASCAR-wise, Bristol is next on the list. If we can't get tickets for that, Watkins Glen would be next in line.
